Made up a new dual flag holder
Here's an idea for anyone wanting to display their flags on the front of their rigs. I decided on doing something a little different than using my 22' fiberglass pole mounted at the rear of the trailer, but I didn't want to drill or bolt onto my new Goosebox. I looked on Amazon and found these rubber encased super strong neodymium magnets, which have a size M6 threaded stud. Each circular magnet has a pull weight of 20lbs. There are others that are even stronger. Using a 1/8th" thick, 6" x 18" steel plate, I bolted 8 of those magnets to the back side and within the 12" width of the pinbox. I then mounted two standard size flag pole holders on the outsides of where the magnets are. Painted everything up in semi-gloss black and it holds nice and strong. The flag poles and mounts also came from Amazon and are black with a carbon fiber look to them. Very happy with the results, and no scratches, or having to hard mount to the pinbox. Here are the threads for the magnets and flag poles. The steel plate was bought at Home Depot.

Nice job! I would trade the Marine flag for a Coast Guard flag

That a cool way of doing that. I would make only one change, US NAVY flag. Other than that very cool.

Nice job with the magnets. I was afraid of scratching up the hitch, or having them blow off in a side wind. I did something similar for our camper. Right now its set up for only one flag, but I have room to add up to two more for 3 total. It clamps on with two threaded knobs.

Copy the URL from the address bar on the browser. Paste it into a Word, Excel, or a Note Pad document. Or, write it down on paper exactly as it appears in the address bar above.
You can also print the entire thread to a PDF instead of an actual printer if you have a PDF application installed. PFD Factory, Adobe, any one of these will work as "printer" options.
