Is there a better pic of the routing? I can't figure out the where the route goes in the supplied pic. Have you reported these problems to the RVTW folks? They can probably do more to fix it than us.

My apologies - I haven't figured out how to post a pdf to reply ...
What the routing is doing is taking me from Pointblank TX to Houston and then back up I-45 ... it has been reported to RVTW and the primary excuse is; new mapping service picked up some time back.
.
DW got a a new RV Garmin 785 for Christmas - hate to plan a trip sitting in the TV, hopefully laptop and Garmin will talk and we can go on from there. The trip will be loaded on there before leaving on daily travels. Also use NAV in TV - makes for interesting discussion with Navigator (DW) while rolling when they are different as the old Garmin was doing not neat routing ...

I am a novice RVTW user and trying to learn how it works. But when I plan a trip from Pointblank, TX to Houston it takes me straight over to Huntsville and down i-45 into Houston. If I could see your entire map, perhaps I would understand why you got the roundabout route.

Wow!!! Sure enough, a trip from Pointblank, TX to Waco, TX is routed down to Houston and then back. That is definitely a bug.

And if you use the RVLife app, they give you two RV and one Auto/Car routes. The quickest RV route (241.6 mi and 5.0 hours) goes down Hwy-45 Houston and then up Hwy-6 to Waco. The other RV route goes down to Houston, then returns on the same road to Centerville where it goes on Hwy-7 to Hwy-6 and into Waco (241.6 miles and 5:01 hours). The Car/Auto route goes up Hwy-45 to Fairfield and then over to Waco on Hwy-84 (166.3 miles and 3:16 hours)
The 2nd RV route has no reason to go down to Houston and back. It could go directly up Hwy-45 and cut over on Hwy-7 and take about the same time and miles as the Car/Auto route.
Why isn't the Car/Auto route also the RV Route? There are no identified hazards (i.e. low bridges) along that route. The web based RVTW uses that route (after the mindless trip to Houston and back).
The RVLife App doesn't really look like it is ready for prime time. There are several other problems downloading planned trips from RVTW and losing the stops in the trip. And RVTW seems to have a few issues with routing.

I never had an issue with RVTW until six months ago (appx) now it it's acting like a politician running for office.
