Tilting Awning
Hopefully picture loads - question on 373RD Awning: Can one outer end of awning be dropped/lowered to direct raining the low direction? If dropped/lowered position can the awning still be rolled up? There are thumb screws on each side bottom support.

Yes, you can drop one side lower than the other.
No, you can't roll it up like that. The awning arms should be fully extended normally before rolling it back up.

Actually the awning can be rolled up that way, the arm will self adjust as it is rolled in and return to the normal position. Have done it a few hundred times now......... no issues.

I could be wrong, but I believe that's true for the folding arms, but not the type that slide and lock as shown in the pic. Mine have the folding arms, which will self correct when rolling up.

thank you all - on the last trip, the old trailer, awning self adjust in the drizzly weather and later when i was going to roll it up, it adjusted back up before retracting

With the slider type like the OP has its better to loosen it and let it roll up fully extended. I always drop one side a bit lower than the other not just for rain but for light winds as well.
