Plastic on footrest of recliner
Plastic on footrest of recliner is cracked and peeling. How can the clear plastic (Thomas Payne) be removed without damaging the Pleather upholstery? Bottom will be easy top not so. much

There is a very detailed thread on here on how to remove the plastic. It tells you how to get your hand underneath it and remove it. I will try to find it. The plastic would be good protection for the pleather, but come on now, putting the name brand on it? It’s like an advertisement banner. What were they thinking. They are pretty tough to remove. It takes a good attitude and patience. And helps if the temperature is just right.

I actually just found the video on YouTube. Just search for how to remove Thomas Payne plastic. There are several. Good luck. I’m on my iPhone and can’t seem to attach the link?

Hey! I'm happy you've solved your problem! I'm looking for some advice connected with recliners. So, I decided I may ask them here.

So, the question is: I'm going to buy a recliner for me and my wife and we are thinking which material is better for us. I mean, the most popular recliners materials on the market are leather and fabric and I'd like to know which are better. I think, that leather will crack with time, but fabric will look shabby after some time either. I've narrowed the circle up to 2 models. The first one is Chair in Linen, which is made of fabric and the second is Giantex Massage Recliner Chair, which has electronic remote controller. I still can't choose the one and I need some advice.

The recliner comes down to personal choice, buy the one you like.
I tend to like leather as it is easier to clean and will wear well if you buy quality.
Our options are part of what makes America the best place in the world.
