Hi everyone! Coming from Arizona, we are Dave and Cheryl McElhaney. Howdy one and all.
QUESTION: We have a 2017 3721RL. The mirror on the front bottom of the forward cap ( used primarily for hitching to your truck) needs to be replaced. I have called Keystone direct. They won't deal with an individual. I tried several RV dealerships and Camping World. Apparently these don't exist after they leave the factory? Can anyone offer any suggestions?? Would appreciate it. See y'all out on the road!

My suggestion would be to find a woodworker to whittle one of those corny name plates made to fit that space.

Welcome to the forum! That mirror is something I have never used and with 8 years of full timing we've hitched a lot. If it were me, I'd try trekwood.com they have most parts for Montana's there.

We have a 3791rd and when we took delivery last October the dealer sprayed our unit down and the mirror turned black. We are headed back to Camping World tomorrow, to get it replaced. They had to order it and supposedly it is in. Will let you know what happens.

I just bought a 2019 Montana and it turned black in one month. Trekwood wants around $400. I'm going to check out a plastic's shop, you want something that is UV protected. Good luck

I had one replaced at the Fall Rally, it took the tech. about 10 min. to peel of old mirror and stick the new one on, if you go to fall rally they will most likely replace it for free.

I attached one of those large round 'spot' mirrors with the stickum on the back to my unit. I have a large roll-up tonneau cover ( https://realtruck.com/p/truxedo-sentry-tonneau-cover/) that blocks my view of the hitch and hitch pin. Had to go with this cover to handle snow load in my area.

I have never used the cheap "mirror." It's worthless IMHO.

Welcome to the forum from eastern Washington, my wife and I just got a 2011 3665 in December, I have only hooked up to it once so don't know how useful the mirror is, but I am looking forward to finding out starting in April ( first trip out). Welcome again.

the mirror doesn't work for us. hitch "picture" is obscured in the mirror. we use a tennis ball on an extended antenna with a magnet placed on the front of the hitch & line up hitch jaws with king pin.
