New Members - Thunder Bay, Ontario
Hi MOC - We are just about to be new Montana Owners. We take delivery this week on a 2005 3475 5th wheel. This is a new model and we are new Montana owners. We have camped for years in everything from a tent to our last unit was a Keystone Sprinter HP 5th wheel. We decided to take the plunge and move up to a Montana before retiring. My wife Linda has 3 more years and I have 5 or 6 more. We tow with a 2004 Dodge 2500 with a Cummins Turbo that is chipped. My best friend has the exact truck and trailer and is headed to Arizona as we speak. So far claims his rig is awesome to pull and getting 15 MPG (Canadian). My wife is a receptionist at a law firm and I am a Regional Coordinator for an Industrial Distributor. We are looking forward to enjoying our rig and the communication from the MOC members looks terrific. Regards, Larry

It is a great forum and there are a lot of talented members willing to provide help.
Sounds like your all set up to head south.

Welcome to a fellow Ontarian, (even if you are about 3 days drive away in the big Northwest of the province!) One day we hope to make the "North of Superior" trip.

Welcome Larry and Linda to the MOC. Your choice of the 3475 is a good one and I am sure you will have many years of terrific RV adventures in it.
Do not hesitate asking your questions as that's what the MOC is all about, MOCers helping MOCers.

Welcome aboard and congratulations! We have quite a few Canadian members in this group and had several at the September rally. We haven't yet seen the 3475 but have heard some great things about it and hope to see one soon. You shouldn't have any problems towing it with your Dodge. Hope you get lots of enjoyment from the combination.

Hello and welcome, What type of chip did you put in your dodge? I have a 2001 6 speed HO cummins and thinking about chipping it, but wondering which is the best. I finally got my husband out to look on the montanas and we have decided on the 3400rl. Does anyone have that model with a washer/dryer in it and if so how do you like it?
Happy Trails. Kent and Shanna Clark

welcome fellow Canadian to the forum.
Like you people my wife & I are eagerly awaiting retirement in 2.5 years and THEN Arizona, Texas, Florida here we come. When you live in the north, -45C with the wind chill yesterday, we spend our winters dreaming of those warm climates in our Montana.

Congradulations and welcome to the forum. It will be hard to find a better group of people than you will find here. Like you we are waiting on warm weather so we can hit the roads and enjoy our new Monty.
