Montana 3950BR & 2017 F350 DRW - Seattle, WA
Hi everyone,
My wife daughter and I are very happy so far with our 3950BR, although it’s only a few months old.
I think the only issue so far has been the generator storage area isn’t opening properly. Getting that serviced in July.
We declined the extended warranty, but I have no expectations that this won’t break eventually. Perhaps more than the cost of the warranty even. We’ll roll the dice I guess.
We’re a bit concerned with perhaps not being able to get into all of the parks, but whatever, we need to actually experience not getting in somewhere we want to before I get too upset about being too long.
This is our first rv, but we’ve rented many class A’s over the years. And I’ve blown the transmission on one of those Class A’s,. I think that’s why we got a truck and fiver. At least when things break we’ll have something that works, hopefully, either a truck or coach.
Anyway I like these forums and hope everyone has a great summer.
We did Fidalgo Bay Resort in Anacortes, Gig Harbor RV Park, are headed to Taidnapam (WA), and Blue Lake (WA) this summer.
We are thinking of a Seattle to Palm Springs round trip this fall.

Nice Rig! I doubt you will ever regret having a large unit. The worry about size is offset by all that extra room inside. Enjoy that Monster! Stay safe.

Welcome to the forum! We've found that, if you decide on an extended warranty, they are more reasonably priced when not purchased from the dealer and can be purchased at a later date. We have been know to check ahead, but in 8 years of fulltiming we have never not been able to get in where we wanted to go even occasionally in some older state parks. Here's hoping your new rig brings you many years of wonderful memories.

Nice fiver. We have been RVing with fivers a long time, including six years wandering around fulltiming, and never had a problem getting a site. But the reality is that some state/county/COE parks do have length limitations often set because of internal park roads. You have to do your homework on them when planning trips.

Welcome to the forum. Lisa does all our trip planning, she reads the reviews, calls ahead for site length, and looks at the site on line if possible.
