If you have a handle extension it may have slipped? Some valves have remote cables that operate them as well and the cables can slip from original position making the remote handle not go all the way back into it's original position when you close valve. In either case it is usually a simple matter of loosening a set screw and resetting extension/cable position. This can get more complicated however if the valve is hidden behind the belly cover. If you have to cut the underlayment for access be sure to get it secured back in place. If your really handy add an access panel since you will occasionally have to work on those valves.....

You could possibly have toilet paper caught in the groove where the blade seats.

That's ok just find a handy fellow camper, offer them a hamburger in exchange for 10 minutes of work. Problem solved. This one most likely isn't a big deal to fix.

Get one of these, https://www.amazon.com/Valterra-T58-.../dp/B000BGHYJS and install it to your waste hose fitting before connecting your hose. Once you have drained your black tank, close this valve but leave the tank valve open. Fill your black tank with water 1/2 full and add this product https://www.amazon.com/Caravan-overn...9ZNM6KSN6DY9G3 which is supposed to clean your tank level sensors but will also dissolve tissue which is what is probably keeping your valve from closing all the way. This is way cheaper than having someone take apart your drain valve to unclog it, and a lot less messy. I use one of these valves, and if I find my black tank valve will not close all the way when draining the tank, I close the twist on valve and then with the black tank valve still open, I open the grey tank, which will back flow into the black tank and almost 100% of the time, will remove the tissue from the valve.

We put a Valterra valve on our previous trailer when we were having issues with the tank not closing properly. It is a very cheap and effective fix for any waste holding tank leak.
When we bought the new Monty we installed one as insurance. We haven't had a problem, but we are covered if we ever do.

Davoagallardo-- I would put your last question into another post. You have answers coming in on your first post about the black tank valve and you need to have separate and individual answers to each question. As far as the black tank valve problem do a search on this and you'll find all kinds of posts about this very same problem by others here on MOC.

If your genny is factory installed (correctly) it should have a auto transfer switch that will isolate the 2 sources of power so they will not both be feeding the trailer. I could do what you are asking with both my pervious toyhaulers without any issues.

My neighbor suggested that to aid cleaning the black tank, just toss ten pounds of ice down the toilet just b4 driving to next stop.

Several YouTube videos show why the ice thing usually will not work. Try it if feeling lucky.

Masterdrago look at the last post I made on your thread named "Draining for the teens this week". I put in my black tank/drain sequence. Also don't leave your black tank open all the time. Your solids will not flush out of the tank if you have no additional fluid in the tank. Leave closed and dump periodically or when you are finished camping.

I just have the valve installed on the hose along with a clear straight fitting. The valve stays open and I only close it if there is a drain valve issue. If someone had a failed black tank or grey tank valve, this valve installed directly on the fitting where you normally connect your drain hose would work until you fixed the failed drain valve. So, I just operate the twist on valve if I have a problem getting the black valve closed.
