MOC - Files and manuals

We have another new feature for the site; a library of sorts for manuals documents and useful lists.

You can access this from the link on the upper nav bar for "files" but here's a direct link: http://www.montanaowners.com/forums/downloads.php

Anyone can add content but before it displays the files will be looked over by the site team to make sure they are legible and fit the intent of the section.

Examples of useful items might be:
  • Manuals
  • Packing check lists
  • Graphics related the Montanas
  • Tech schematics, etc

This content is especially useful for older rigs as the manuals often become lost and are hard to locate online.

WOW thanks Janet another great idea!!! In fact funny you should put this in service today as I just realized I did not get a manual for our residential fridge with our unit! Our camper is currently at the dealer for it's first go round of warranty work (just a couple of very minor issues). As such I can't go check but I think the fridge is a Samsung.

Manuals not always included

We bought our 2018 unit in October. The “owner’s manual” is perfunctory at best. Most entries read “see ______ manual for details.” Only problem: many of the manuals for particular features (A/C, oven, range top, etc) were NOT included with the unit. The ones that were, for the most part, were written by a monkey with a typewriter, and no use at all.

Thanks that is a great idea and a BIG service to the members. But remember reading the manual is considered cheating better to try yourself that way you can better describe the problem to the pro service man.
