Hitch,LED,and Layout plan
Ok; everyone I'm new to the Montana world, but this is our fourth camper we have owned. So I'm not new to the camping world.
Here is my question to everyone, I'm trying to find out if I can order a rear hitch for my 3582RL camper or do I have to make one. I'm looking because my wife and I ride bikes and I would like to haul them on the back of the camper and not in the bedroom on the bed.
Also has anyone replace the rear stop light and turn signal light with LED lights. The incandescent lights are nice but I like the new LED light better I think you can see them better.
Also can anyone tell me when I can find a layout of the tanks under the camper, I would like to learn everything about this camper as possible.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I had a fabricator weld a hitch on the rear of our 2013 3100. My dealer referred me to one that they utilized so I waited until my warranty was up before I did it. You are obviously not under warranty so that isn't a concern. Montana has a substantial frame and my hitch is rated at 500# tongue weight and 5000# towing and I pull an enclosed trailer with my Harley in it.
I replaced my backup lights with stop, tail, and turn lights and it is an easy conversion. Although I didn't use LED's, some have, and I agree that they are more noticeable but just the extra lights in place of the backup are also quite an improvement.
On our 3100, the bath sink and shower tank is in the front, the black is directly behind that and the galley tank is behind that. The fresh water tank is at the rear so caution must be used if welding a hitch on it.

I replaced our tail lamps with a perfect fitting led from M4Products. They were easy to do. I also went to the John Deere shop and put a pair of tractor lamps I mounted to the frame under the rear end of the trailer. Now when I'm in reverse backing in the dark it's like daylight back there. The factory back up lamps were useless!

No idea what rig you have, so not possible to describe how you can do yours, but I recently replace our tail lights. We have the recessed round trailer lights, and had one tail and one backup light on each side. I replace all of them with LED assemblies, so have two red tail lights on each side. We have the factory hitch across the frame which we have never used, so I also purchased two clear LED light bars which I mounted one to either side of the hitch bar and connected as the backup lights.

The backing lights on our Montana were useless. I replaced all lights with red lens LEDs. They are stop/turn and running functional. MUCH brighter. I expect the lights will outlast me.
BTW, if anyone needs the OEM round lenses and retainer rings, PM me and I'll send them to you free.

I replaced my tail lights and back-up lights with LED lights. The back-up lights were basically useless so I changed them to extra tail lights. It's a lot brighter and attention getting!
Picture below - old lights left side, new LED's on right side!
