Clicking Sound
Preparing for trip and in and out of camper all day. Late today heard a "clicking" sound that seemed to be behind the convenience center and furnace. Everything is off on the panel inside except the frig is on. The ice maker is off. We are not hooked to water but have water in fresh water tank but water pump is off. Furnace is off. I turned the breaker at the house off and still clicking. Turned the battery switch to off and stopped. Turned the battery on and the house 120 back on and no more clicking. The clicks were not rapid fire but every few seconds. "Checked" the converter/fuses and everything appears okay. Any ideas on what the clicking may have been?

Sounds like either your refrigerator or furnace is trying to light on gas not electric and it's not getting gas.

It's not the frig since it is residential. As best I can tell, the furnace has not been on. The thermostat is blank as it should be but who knows with these things. I thought about the furnace but we haven't used the furnace since the PDI a month or so ago. The clicking started after several hours of preparing for the trip and rearranging the pass through storage.

Or a mouse, you got to rooting around and he quit chewing for awhile. Set a trap.

Maybe you inverter for the fridge was "confused" and was trying to power-up. I don't know if they are solid state or have relays in them. If it happens again ... turn off the fridge for a few moments.

Talked to service manager at dealership and he said if water heater and furnace worked it is probably the control panel. He said sometimes it will make a clicking sound. He said if power is disconnected and reconnected this particular clicking will cease. This is what happened yesterday and no clicking today. Hot water heater on gas worked this morning. I tried to start the furnace and would not light. Manager said the furnace will not light unless the temp is lower than what it is today. As best I remember he said it is a switch or something that makes this noise and not a problem.
