LED Cap Lights and LED Strip
I would like to install the LED lights under the awning. I searched them out online and found many. I would like to hear from those of you who purchased on line as to what you purchased and where you purchased. Did what you purchased hold up?
I also have to replace the blue LED cap lights. Do they (inside the cap) have connectors on the ends or are they direct soldered wires?
Thanks

Just an aside to this I have the 12V connectors used for connecting to the porch light wiring. They come in a package of 10 so if anyone needs one please PM me and I would be happy to send you some. No cost just a shame to buy 10 when you only need 1 or 2.

John
Look for the SMD5050 LEDs(these have RGB in each led for a nice white if you want)with at least IP65 or IP66 waterproofing. Lots to be had on Amazon and EBAY. There are also different remotes, IR and RF, I use the RF so I can turn them off from inside the rig.

Wayne - I was thinking about drawing power for the LED strip from the porch light. Do you have a picture of one of these things or a place that I can see one on the 'net.

When I installed our LED strip under the awning. I just busted the glass off of the bulb and used butt splices to connect the wires to the filament posts for the LED to the control box, which I was able to fit into the porch light housing. Figured I didn't need the porch light with all the light from the LED's.
