2 good campgrounds
The Blue Ox RV park in Albany, OR is a great facility: concrete drive throughs, grass strips, trees, flowers, spas, pool, laundry, convenient location, etc., etc., etc., and the personnel are great - friendly and helpful.
Hillview RV park in Clarkston, WA: large sites, very large gravel parking areas, grass, trees, usual amenities, and convenient location.

I have to ask. How is the air quality at the park in Albany? Every time we drive through there it is very noticeable? Also another great park in the area is RV Park of Portland in Tualatin. it is a great location for visiting Portland. Sites are nice, some on the river, not what you would expect right off the freeway.

Not sure what you mean by air quality in Albany? We were just there, and this time of year it is usually overcast in the a.m., but burns off in afternoon. I used to live in Albany and if the wind is right, the smoke/steam from the paper mill north of town drifts through different areas with its odor, etc. Is that maybe what you are referring to? We didn't experience that though.

Yes, the odor from the mill was what I was referring to. I was hoping it was not obvious in the park.

No odor from the mill when we were there. I lived within site of the mill for over 10 years, same general area as the Blue Ox, and it never did drift our way.

Well it sure drifts the way of I-5. We have never traveled through that area without noticing it. Glad to hear it is not throughout the whole area. Always good to hear of another place to stay when traveling in that direction.
