Near Salem Oregon, it's a beautiful park with 10 walkable waterfalls.

We stayed there many years ago. The park was being expanded at that time. If I remember the new part was very open and easy to get around but I do not remember much about it but would like to go back as it has been 20 years since we were there.

I agree. Stay at Silver Spurs. We did and really enjoyed it. Its only a short drive from there to the park. And, as I remember, the camping spaces at the state park were fairly tight and IMO would be difficult getting a rig our size into it.

Hi John. We're out north of Hillsboro, in the Helvetia area. We stayed at Silver Falls last spring. Beautiful place. Incredible hiking trails, and gorgeous falls. As to the park, a wonderful park. The sites for us "big rigs" are actually quite roomy, and the one we had was easy to back into. However, be prepared for an interesting drive getting there. It is up in the hills, and the road leading up there is through farmland and country. It is a good road but VERY winding and quite a few curves. It was not a problem, however be advised that you will NOT be driving fast getting up there. Also, do not try to come in by way of the north, through Silverton. Come in from the south, by way of the Santiam Hwy, just south of Salem. PM us if you want more details/info.
