Hi everybody. This is Terry and Barb. We are 43 years old and have 3 kids. They are all but grown and moved out. just our 20 year old at home now. We just bought a 2004 3400RL Montana, and traded in our 275 Hornet that we had for ten years. We went on a trip to Balieys Harbor in door county wisconsin 2 days after we picked it up and were very pleased with everything and how it worked.

Terry & Barb,
Welcome to the MOC and congrats on your new unit! Door County is one of the places on my list I definitely want to go and explore. I am a decorative artist and love rosemaling and of course Pipkas Santas. Any info on campgrounds in that area would be greatly appreciated, Looking forward to hearing about all your adventures!

Welcome, Tim,

We enjoy Door County as well. Is your home in Wisconsin? We are in Plymouth, about 60 miles south of Green Bay.

Hi Joyce!
Door county is a beautiful area to visit. Its only 5 hrs from were we are and we have been going up there for the last 6 years. We have been staying at Baileys Grove campgroung in Baileys Harbor. It is one of the only places up there with full hookups. It is a really nice park that is close to all the sites aroung the area. The owners are Elwyn & Leann Kropuenske. 1-866-839-2559 & campnowwi@yahoo.com They are very nice people. They retired and full timed camped and then bought this campground to run in the summer and camp in arizona in the winter. I highly recommend them. There are lots of arts and paintings up there. And some christmas only stores with lots of santas. The miles and miles of gorgeous coast line around the lake make the trip well worth the drive. You meet lots of nice people up there. We were up there two weeks ago and a group of safari owners came in together, about 10 of them from texas to tenn and its nice to visit with them about the country they have seen and the areas to visit up there. I hope you get to visit the area sometime. Happy traveling. Terry

Terry,
Thanks for the info. We will certainly give Elwyn & Leann a call when we can work a trip to Door county into our schedules. I have copied the info to save for reference. Unfortunately it will probably have to be next summer as our schedule is pretty full until the end of October (including the MOC Rally in Sept.) and I don't think we would enjoy a trip to WI in the winter. Your post has put it high on our priority list. Thanks again for sharing.

That unit is so beautiful. RC really covets that one. My sister has one and it's so nice and roomy.

Your trip sounds wonderful and even better is that you liked how everything worked and had no problems.

Welcome to MOC. We'll be looking forward to reading more from you.
