Hello All
I'm the new owmer of a new 2004 3685FL Montana Big Sky. I traded a class A 35ft Winnebago motorhome in for it, I plan on living in it full time. My wife, our Yorkie and myself will be living in it.For now we are located in Jacksonville Florida. I've owned motorhomes for about 12 years now, this is my first experience with a fifth wheel. It should be interesting, I assume it will be a lot different then owning a class A.
God Bless

Welcome to the MOC forum. We are so glad you have decided to join us. We too formerly were motorhome RVers and have switched to a fiver. We are very happy with our decision. We felt the fiver was a better decision for us as we plan to stay put for a longer period of time in each area after our retirement this fall. We are also delighted with the extra living space. Good luck in your new endeavor. Looking forward to your posts and hearing about your adventures.

Congratulations on your new 5th wheel. We also bought the 3685FL and traded in our motor home. We will be taking ours out this weekend for the first time. Biggest worry we have is hubby backing up. Can't seem to find mirrors that will fit our truck so he can see better. I love the spaceous feeling we have when we are in it. With a 119 pound German shepard we needed more room. Plus we take along the house when we travel

Welcome to the the forum and congrats on your new purchase. We've owned our 5th wheel for about a year now and have really enjoyed it. We moved up from a 28ft Outback travel trailer. We were stuck in the trailer for a weekend because of wx and decided it was time for an upgrade with more room....lol

Greetings, acbskb!
Welcome aboard. You live in a beautiful city, for sure. We've had the pleasure of spending many moons in Jacksonville, over the years.
And yes, owning a fifth-wheel is very different than a Class A.
Do hope you enjoy.......

Welcome to the club and congratulations on your new Big Sky. I haven't seen the 3685FL in a Big Sky yet. I can only imagine how nice it is.
We've never had a motor home. Our two prior RV's were pop ups. I'm sure it will be different for you, but I think you'll love the difference. From what I have read here and else where there is a lot more roominess in a fiver.
You'll have a small learning curve, but I'm sure you'll do fine. We'll be looking forward to reading all about your new adventures.
