New Fulltimers
We pulled away from our old house yesterday morning to begin our new life as full-timers in our 2008 Montana 3400RL. We bought the 5th wheel and a Ford F350 Dually TV in late June and spent the last several weeks moving in and then selling everything else that we own and our house. We closed on Monday, spent one more night parked next to our house, and now here we are . . .
We are also beginners at RV'ing . . . .so I am sure this forum will help us a lot in our 'on the job training'.

Congratulations on your new lifestyle. You'll find a lot of full timers on the forum and many more folks who know your Montana backwards and forwards. Welcome to the forum and the lifestyle. Hope to meet you down the road.

A great adventure begins. We fulltimed for six years, and sometimes wonder why we bought our home and did not continue fulltiming.

Congrats on the new lifestyle of living. It's different to say the least. But there's not a thing I would change as of now after about 2 1/2 yrs of it. Been a lot of places that I would have never been and can't wait for the next day to see what it brings. Good luck on your travels and finding this place also gives you a lot of knowledge as far as help.

Lance, Lynn and Riley,
Welcome to the MOC. As new RVers you will find this Forum to be very helpful. Probably every question or concern that may pop up in your new lifestyle will have been addressed here at one time or another. This is a great group of folks. We do not fulltime but even so we have been saved many times by the answers we've been able to find here.
Congratulations and I hope you enjoy your new adventure. There are so many great people to meet and places to see that you'll wonder why you didn't get started even sooner. Best of luck and keep us updated on your new life. Dennis and Mary Kay and the Boys

6 years ago, we did the same as you. We sold our house, all the STUFF, and began our vagabond lifestyle.
There have been some trying times. .....soon, you will be counting the rewards of your decisions, but in the beginning it can be trying; you will find that the MOC forum is invaluable to answer all of those questions you just need to know now, and to learn all those details you had no idea existed.
We wouldn't trade our lifestyle and the ability to be anywhere we please for anything.
Best of wishes to you on your new trek. Welcome to the forum.
