Full time insurance?
Now that the house is selling, the insurance will also disappear. Who do you recommend I look at? Thanks!!!

National Interstate has a good policy that helps to replace the liability insurance that you lose when your house insurance is gone. We got our policy through ExplorerRv

You might check with my agent Miguel Guerrero | Sales Representative | PoliSeek Insurance
p. 866 520-7335, Ext. 75292 | f. 866-930-7335 | e. mguerrero@poliseek.com
He put me with Progressive with whom I've been very happy. They turned out to be cheaper than National Interstate. If you tell him Orv Schinke referred you it might get you a break -- no guarantee however.

There are a number of factors to consider. Policies differ by state and sometimes by county within a state. Often people give great quotes on this forum, but are comparing apples to oranges. You want a policy that covers you in a similar fashion as a homeowners policy. This is casualty insurance, not road side emergency coverage, not extended warranty. You may already know all that I have said, but others may not.
I have used Foremost. They have handled my claims for body damage from blowouts and for a travel accident I incurred with expertise and courtesy. They have worked with the service providers to get me back on the road. While price is important to me, I have a history of policy fulfillment with Foremost. I have done comparisons every year and find that coverage for coverage, Foremost is within a few dollars of the competitors.

Most Insurance Companies will cut you a personal liability policy for whatever amount you want to pay for. We did that; made us feel good, never had to use. It was attached to very inexpensive renters insurance (think is was around $115 per year), which we took out to cover all of our stuff we put in long term storage.

We have been covered by GMAC for quite a few years- Our policy is for "fulltimers" and has a rider for personal contents, etc.- We have used the coverage for a fenderbender and a storm caused awning loss- Have not used the other clauses so I can't speak to those issues- We are extremely satisfied with our relationship with GMAC- JMHO- Don

Dick look into Blue Sky also. Have heard nothing but good on National Interstate also. I went with Blue Sky and it is very reasonably priced. Don't know about a claim, never made one on them. Dougherty Ins. out of Sioux Falls SD right next door the Alternative Resources is who I am dealing with and they did a good job after changing to SD for residency.

DQDick, National Interstate here also.
Very pleased with them for last four years. Two claims niether on 5er. Van broken into and truck accident, both handled professionally and quickly. Truck incident happened last Oct. in Ohio and finished in N.C. this March due to work schedule with NO problems.
Was with Foremost first, dropped them because they would only cover so much in storage.
Hope this helps!

We've been with GMAC for about 13 years and have been happy. We have the "full timer" coverage on the rig with additional personal contents coverage.
