TST or PressurePro
I'm going to get a TPMS for the new Monty and from the searching I've been able to do, the TST or Pressure Pro seem to have the best reputations. I would have included Hawkshead, but their new 507 system seems to be having problems and from some of the posts I've read, Hawkshead may not be handling them that well from a service standpoint.
1. I want to be able to see the tire pressure before departing
2. I don't mind if the batteries are not replaceable if they last 5 or 6 years (in fact that may be better than having to remember to change out batteries every year or when they fail)
3. I do want a stable Co. that will stand behind their product with good service if there is a problem.
Any reason to pick one over the other or are there other contenders?
Thanks

Buy Canadian! Go PressurePro! Just joking with you Jack.
I have the Pressure Pro, I use with 8 sensors and a booster.
Save your money and forget about the booster as mine has been disconnected in my rig for some time now and I have had no problems.
I stole the power cord from the booster as the one in the truck broke right at the unit. The cord failed due to me pulling it off the Velcro to look at it while driving, it was mounted too far away.
Never had any interference from anything around me yet.
I haven't had to deal with customer service yet.
I give it a 8 out of 10 as I wish there was a different antenna on it so that I could mount it to the center overhead console.

I've only had experience with the TST system. I've been real happy with the system so far. You probably can't go wrong with either system.

Pressure Pro for sure. Just ordered new sensors today (12 units) and a upgrade receiver. Old units were installed in 2004 and never removed. Feel like I good my bang for the buck.

BigMurf,
Wow! So you got 7 or 8 years or so with the batteries! That sounds great. Even though I had to replace a power cord after my first trip I am so far satisfied and impressed with the Pressure Pro. I did not like the fact that they are relatively more expensive than other systems. But I am very happy with the service I've gotten from Mike and Pat. Nice to be able to call and get an answer to my questions. Good luck. Dennis

Thanks for the feedback. I'll check out the antennea options, both systems look good. I got great information from Pressure Pro. I do believe they are both good.

TST for sure, it works without a problem. I am really sold on these guys....I lost my readout, DW called them and they actually sent me a replacement one at NO cost! I really like the temperature and pressure readings.

Where are you ordering your Pressure Pro from?
What parts do I need to order for a:
1) 2009 Montana 3400 (4 tires + spare)?
2) 2009 Dodge 3500 mega cab (not dually)?
Look like a good investment.

TST for us. I like the monitor, it fits on the dash and isn't too big as to get in the way.

I have use the red led display and the TST LCD display. I like the TST much better. Easier to see especially in direct sunlight. Both are good products. I too have received great customer support from TST.

I haven't picked a source yet. I'm still trying to decide between TST and Pressure Pro. I think I need to see the displays and physically compare the units. I'll try to do that this weekend. If you call either of the manufacturers, they can tell you what parts you will need to do what you want. I will probably cover my tv and 5er and the spares. So will need 10 sensors, a display unit, appropriate power cables for the display and appropriate antenea. From the posts, I don't think I'll need a booster unit.

We went with the TST. Right now they have their 6 sensor systems (choice of 2 styles) on sale for $299 with 3-year warranty and free shipping. Their site is www.tsttruck.com (deliberately not linked).
I have NO association with this company other than as a satisfied customer.

The newer style has interchangeable batteries on the sending units with the old style you have to have them replaced.
I have gotten great customer support from them. I too hold no association with the company other than a satisfied customer.

Actually I have Mission bombs and have had no problems...but bought the TST as insurance for what ever that is worth. I used velcro and have the monitor mounted on the dash in plain view. With over 10,000 miles on the Missions, I anxiously await the boom and the beep, and hope the beep (warning from TST) happens first.
