Wholesale Warranties/Extended Warranty
With a new rig on order and no prior experience with extended warranties I thought I would check here.
I just got a quote from Wholesale Warranties on a 5 and 7 year extended warranty for the new rig. This is my quote.
$50 Deductible (per visit)
7 years-$1680
5 years-1493
The policy holder is American Bankers Trust. I know some of you have used Wholesale Warranties in the past. This is my first quote, but I am working on others.
What do you think. Good, bad or ugly.

Rick,
I got my Extended Warranty from Wholesale Warranties, but they sold me Performance First. Haven't had a claim, but called them when water heater wasn't working, and ask if I could have someone come to where I was. They said that was fine as long as they had a business license. Turns out I had the Water Heater by-pass in wrong position.
Not sure about the Extended Warranty they are selling now days, but the one I got was 7 years from when I bought it, so I waited until the last week of the factory warranty. When researching, some were creeper, but it was 7 years from when you got your unit (so really 6 year warranty).
Hope that helps. Looks like price when up since Sept. 2010 when I got mine, so I am good to Sept 2017.

5 years = $300 down plus 12 monthly payments of $74.75 = $1,197
6 years = $325 down plus 12 monthly payments of $81.00 = $1,297
7 years = $350 down plus 12 monthly payments of $87.25 = $1,397
Enjoy a $100 discount if paying in full =
5 years = $1,097
6 years = $1,197
7 years = $1,297

Wholesale warranties is a insurance agency just like your local auto insurance agency that sells many different companies policies. Mine was Warranty Experts and I got the RV shield warranty.
Do some homework and see who the financial backers and warranty administrators are. Have them send you a policy to review before you purchase.
The price for 7 years is in the ball park fot 2011. Remember now thses are NOT extended Warranties but service contracts. Do some homework

Got the extended on mine when I bought it. Mine was a 6 year. Forget how much it was. It has payed off. I think I payed $100 to have the refer replace when the cooling unit went out. I am pretty sure that cost more than the extended warranty.

We have American Guardian as well. Cost us just under $1k in 2007 for a 7 year plan. We have used them several times for different issues and they have been pretty easy to work with.
On our most recent claim the shop had to replace the fireplace due to the wires being burnt in two. The replacement was over $1000.00 and this alone paid for the warranty. Our deductable is $50 per claim.
Here is a link to the plan that we have: http://www.agwarranty.com/pdfs/USATrailer.pdf
