Swivel Wheel Trailers

I am considering the purchase of a swivel wheel trailer to load a
motorcycle on behind my Monty. Looking for information from anyone who is currently using a swivel wheel trailer and pictures on the attachmet of such trailers to fifthwheels.

Tony

We have looked at them several times and always go back to our state laws and are unsure if we are legally allowed to pull them. A lot of $$ to invest and not be legal. We live in MD and could not find anyone who sells them in or around our area. Seems they are mostly in Texas, AZ... etc. One day we are hopeful to actually see one in a campground and visualize how it really works. Those that do have them seem to really like them. There have been many threads on the moc about them. Seems Idaho is the best made out there.

I'm currently looking at the tandum wheel Swivel made here in Fla. The trailer is around $2500 and the hitch another $500. There just happens to be one in the lot behind us now, pretty slick. The web site is www.swivelwheeltrailer.com

We have a '09 3400RL and really want to take our Harley with us. After a lot of research and looking we decided to go with a toyhauler. Hated to get rid of the Montana but pulling double trailers just wasn't for me. Talked to several people that does it with out any trouble. A lot of states can't pull in and a lot of different laws in states concerning lengths. We have been fulltiming for three years and this will be our first toyhauler. The only one we found we liked, a 2010 383 Fuzion with the SE Touring 11 package. Looked at Motor Home just to much wasted space for us. Good Luck with the search. George

Hi bob, I have the dual wheel swivel dolly. I use it to haul my golf cart to Myrtle when I go to the beach. It works great. It's not a trailer, it does not have a ball. I live in WV, not far from MD. PM me with your phone number if you have any questions and I'll call you. Kerry

I you are looking to haul just one motorcyle, what about a Cruierlift? Not sure if it can be mounted to Monty or not.
