Team Colors Edition

Tailgating. That's what I'm talking about! I bet there would be a huge market for rigs available in team colors and logos. NFL and major NCAA Football teams would give Keystone a huge edge in sales. There would be a price tag for the licenses, but it would be worth it. I would love to have my rig decked out in orange and Tiger paws! I can't believe this hasn't been done yet.

I just sent my bc renewal form in. I wish our fan base was like you guy's always fun when the tigers come to town. I cracked up when I read your post, they give us like 3 hours max before a game to tailgate and forget an rv they are not allowed. What about mlb, I would love red socks on mine.

Boston is a great city to visit. I particularly enjoyed boarding the USS Constitution. You guys need to fight for your right to tailgate up there in the Heights. I was floored when some students explained the rules when we were up there for the game in 2006. Our crowd starts showing up at the Valley on Thursdays for all the home games. We may come up to Boston this year.

Plenty of fans of the teams with the huge followings that would jump to buy a used unit decked out in team colors. Of course you would have to sell it locally around those teams' areas unless it was the Dallas Cowboys, Yankees, or a National team. Trust me it would be no problem at all to re-sale. In fact it would move it quicker.

Greg sorry to go off topic but, the problem is they are in a residential area with loads of money and loads of rules.Did you go to fenway in 2006? alot of orange in the stands on friday nite.

Yes we did. It was against the Royals if memory serves. And we were explained that about the residents also. The girl telling us about it even said there were complaints about noise and the band too. Sad, very sad.

Sorry, but I've got to disagree with this statement. Sure there are plenty of fans who would love to have an RV with school colors. But there are many more who would not buy one for the same reason. I have no feelings for Clemson, good or bad, but I would not buy an RV decorated with a Clemson theme. We are in UT country, but I don't want an RV with UT colors either.

Tom, this is something we'll probably never find out the answer to. I'm sure there are a lot of people who would not like a team themed RV. But I see a few dozen custom painted rigs and motorhomes at Clemson on gamedays that tells me there are plenty that would. UT? Tennessee or Texas?

I have to agree with Tom. As I'm a diehard NASCAR fan, I couldn't imagine having my Montana look like a race car drivers number and his sponsors. At the resort we are at for 4 months in the winter, it would look entirely out of place, probably even the butt end of a few jokes too!
Look at the car manufacturers GM for example, making some Monte Carlos look like some drivers, they cost mega bucks and then the owners have a hard time finding someone interested enough to pawn it off on.
Too many different teams and sports to make everyone happy!
But, I'm betting if you want to spend the $$$$$$, you too can have your very own Montana painted to match your own team colors! Just take it to your neighborhood custom paint shop.

The problem with Nascar is you never know when a driver will change sponsors, teams, or even numbers. There's no way I would get a car, truck, or rig done in my favorite driver Mark Martin's colors. In fact he just changed up this year. A lot of folks around here have their motorhomes and rigs painted up in Tiger colors. My point was if you could order it new with a graphics package you wouldn't have to spend thousands to do it after the purchase. I do agree that will never happen due to points you guys brought up and others. It was just a cool thought.

I'm still jealous I can't start taigating on thursday's. I know when I go to a patriots came I see tons of painted rv's. old not new, If you had a new one you would be star of the show.

I think I'll buy the teams flag and fly that, and if they loose I can put it away for a while, and not get upset being reminded of them everytime I looked at the Monty.

I would never have an RV in a particular school's colors or logos. Hang a flag or pennant...sure, but that's it. If my RV was in Alabama's colors, I just eliminated all Auburn fans as prospective buyers (and probably everybody else in the SEC).

Me thinks there are plenty of Bama fans out there to sell to. They'd be all over it.
