Hello?
We are picking up our 2009 Montana 3665 on Wednesday. Is there anyone in the Charlotte NC area?

Well, Jaybird is in Fayetville and NCFischer is in New Bern. Is that close to you?

We have a 2009 3665RE and love it. I've been making improvements on it since we got it last year. Welcome to the forum. We hope you love your Monty as much as we love ours. Try to make plans to attend some of the rallys next year.

What kind of improvements have you done to your 5th wheel? Just interested in seeing what people do to make there units better. I'm always looking for improvements. Although reading the forum my list is getting larger every day on the things I want, or in fact need to do. It will come, just want to be ready for the full timing and be prepared.
Thanks
Dave

Dave,
I built a storage shelf in the basement, added a light in the front compartment, had a pan with a drain made for under the washer/dryer, had a pan made for under the kitchen sink, replaced the bedroom TV and trimmed the cabinet, added a shutoff valve on the end of the sewer pipe, installed a doorbell, moved the vacuum to inside the cabinet and installed a door, installed a surge protector in the front compartment and hardwired it in. I have more in mind for projects over the winter.

In our 05 3295RK I have installed 5th Airborne air ride pin box which elminated brake surging and most of the truck trailer chucking. We put in a coil sleeper matteress (much better than foam). Bought a Magic Cheaf portable ice maker.works great! Put in an A/B switch to use the same outside coax port for both Sat and cable. We pull with a 04 1 ton Dodge
