TV mounts
I ran across this today. TV Wall Mounts I'm not into changing our TVs out yet, but thought someone might need the link. If already posted somewhere, my apologies, but a search didn't find anything.

Note that Mor-Ryde is now making TV mounts that will fit into our RV's. Wall mounts just do not work properly in most cases.. We picked up a brochure from Gary Wheeler(Mor-Ryde rep) at the Tampa RV show.

Holy crap! Those things are WAY to pricy.
I've gotten two different articulating arm mounts for under $40. each. One came from Amazon and the other from eBay. Both were very high quality and work just fine. One even came with a GREAT little stud finder - it worked better and my expensive B&D one.

We added a wall mount into our entertainment center in our 3400. Now we did have to reinforce the upper and lower shelves with 5/8" plywood and a vertical brace about 6 inches behind the opening and secured this to top and bottom with 2" wide angle arm. We also modified the frame of the cabinet to accept a 32" TV. We can pull the TV out and swivel it so we can watch it from the kitchen table. We love it. We also upgraded the equipment. You are only limited by your imagination and abilities......

That looks like the exact mount I bought from Amazon for $99.

The TV40-001 slide out and swivel mount from Mor-Ryde was 180.00 at the RV show.It is the largest and most expensive mount. I have not been able to find a price list on the mor-ryde site. The advantage is they are base mounts that can be installed without modification if you are not handy and I am not. I am going to call for a price list. The phone number on the brochure is 574-293-1581

I did the two slices of plywood and a 2X6 thing as well but I used a double articulating arm so I could swing it WAY out to get into the cabinet behind it. The whole project took only 3 or 4 hours. (It would have been quicker but I had help.)
If I ever get my monty back I'll post some pictures.

I just converted the lr tv in our 3670 to a flat screen. I used Mor Rydes angle base bracket. I was able to bolt it to the original swivel plate the old tv was mounted to. This kept the pull out and swivel function of the old tv. It took about 1 hr for the conversion.

I converted the 27" Tube TV to a 26" LCD in Jan. I used two existing screws and holes from the TV cabinet slideout swivel mount screwed from below into the LCD TV base just like Keystone did on the old Tube TV. Another two holes for screws in the steel swivel mount were behind and slightly outside the new LCD TV base so I used a upside down medium size rubber doorstop from Wal-Mart and bolted through the existing hole so it just presses down on the TV base. I haven't moved the RV yet, but trust that the velcro straps will provide additional and sufficient support (From pitching out) when traveling. That was my cheap and easy solution for now. It only weighs 13lbs versus over 60!
