Hello from PA

Hello from central Pennsylvania and Penn State country. We are finally on our way to our first fifth wheel. Earlier this week we ordered a Mountaineer 345DBQ. With four little ones (including 1 year old twins) the quad bunk floor plan is just what we needed. Dealer tells us it will be delivered the first week of October. Hopefully, he's right and we'll get a couple trips under our belts with the Mountaineer this year yet. I was glad to learn of this forum, and I look forward to checking in often and chatting.

Chris

Glad you are making plans to spend quality time with the kids. RVing is a good way to do it. Welcome to the forum.

Chris,

Believe this. Our loving son-in-law is from Lewistown, attended PSU and now resides in Orlando FL. He is a fanatic Nittany and diehard defender of Coach Joe! Orlando has its own PSU Alumini group and he belongs. Wow.

Enjoy your new Mountaineer. If I ever find our first "trailer" I'll send you a pix. My how times have change and you are so fortunate to enjoy your family and camping. Be safe and it's really a great way to go! Our son, now 40, was always in charge of the "setting up the campsite". Great memories. Take lots of Pix along the way. Your kids will forget but the pix will spur their memories. Dennis and Judy.

Congratulations and we hope you have many happy times in it when you get it. That is a great floor plan when you have little ones.

Congratulations Chris.

Outside the rear window of my trailer I see a ...Mountaineer.
The men have had a campfire going and the basement TV running all weekend. An now, the children are gathered around th fire poing sticks, throwing pebbles and holding a butterfly net. Thanks goodness there are 2 moms around to account for all the kids of near the same age.

Not one fight among the kids have I seen or heard. They are having a great time. And now it is your turn for a great time.

Enjoy.

Congrats, Chris! Exciting times. I have two brothers that have season tickets for PSU football! Best wishes.

Welcome to the forum from a fellow Pennsylvanian and Penn State follower. My son graduated from Penn College in Williamsport which is operated by Penn State.
