What..you mean you want to close the slides BEFORE
I'm sure this thread has Steve's attention.
It was up to 33 / 34F yesterday so I decided to close up the slides. I cleaned the snow and slush off the roof and squeeged them dry. The bed room came in, the kitchen came in, and the livingroom didn't move ... as they say in the navy "AW SHIP".
Attempting an in - out wiggle just moved the bedroom, so I closed the valves on the manifold for the bedroom and kitchen. I found enough movement in the living room to break the seal, so I knew it wasn't frozen. So, following RC's lead I went out and looked for bolts hardware etc on the ground .. found none. I wiggled in and out a bit and found that the slide was not popping up out of the flat floor mode, especially on the non powerd end.
Fortunately, I had access to a 4 foot jackall. I jacked the slide room near the trailer wall and hit the button. The room came in 6 inches or so, so I stopped and removed the jack. It then closed normally.
I guess we are ready for the road ... but I may need a Montana dearler when I hit Florida.
