Caution on the 12 volt pump from Harbor F.
I forgot to give this info on their pump. I had to tighten the loose head cap screws, (4, I think) on both of my new out-of-the-box pumps.
I ran one and it didn't build pressure. I tightened the cap screws on the head, and it has been fine since.

and it may be of note that it does get hot!!! Allow time for it to cool before touching the head area on the pump. This advice is based on personal experience!!

Thanks Ozz! I'll check the screws when I get out to the Monte! It's setting 45 miles from here right now! Come on up, it's 10 degrees right now and wind out of the EAST (weird). Windchill about -10 BURR!

On mine, 1 of the screws was not as tight as the other 3 but it was working fine. Now they are all tight. Thanks!
I recall someone saying they could get to all 4 coach tires from the battery compartment. I typically use the truck battery, but I haven't been able to figure out how to make that curly hose reach that far. Is there a trick or do I just need to anchor the base down and pull harder?
Thanks again, Tim

I pulled the truck parallel to the rig with the front adjacent to the tires. The hose reached under the rig (crawling and leaning and pulling) and I could get to all four tires. Battery on side where tires were.

I got mine last week. I'll have to check it. I haven't even hooked it to a battery to test it yet.
