Fish tacos???
We're in Port Isabel right now just over the bridge from South Padre Island. I believe this area is where everyone says they have good fish tacos. Any suggestions on the best restaurant.

I haven't been able to beat the fish tacos at Dirty Al's.
Log onto SPI Forum, they have a good discussion on places to eat in the area. A few of the people that post there get pretty nasty, in a rude way. Not nice people like here on the Forum. (I should say just one or two of them.)
I am Sparky on that Forum.

Thanks Ozz for all the info. We're going to try Dirty Al's before we leave. Now the big decision---a fish taco or the shrimp. Maybe, we'll just have to visit twice.

Sharon, today Sue and I did some investigating for you guys, try Cece's Mexican Restaurant 1760 hwy. 100, Port Isabel. Right across from the HEB store. The Wal*Mart used to be there, there is a Dollar General store there. (You can get your Black stain remover while at the D.G.)
We had the Mexican Plate, and Chicken Fajitas, both meals reasonable, and tasty. The wait staff and owners are super nice. Your (3) Fish Taco's are $5.95, served with rice and beans.
Enjoy, my friends....

Thanks again Ozz. We drove by Dirty Al's today to check it out. It was really busy so we decided maybe it would be better to try there during the week. There was even a policeman writing tickets for parking. Cece's sounds good also. I'm sure we'll have to check that out too. We eat out quite often. Dennis says it's my vacation also and I don't have to cook. I always say "YES DEAR".
