No Hot water...
Am I correct in assuming the check valve is stuck?
It's 45 degrees, so unless the laws of physics changed overnight, it is not frozen.

I would assume you're saying no water flow on the hot side? We had a long discussion about that check valve the other day. Hot side? Cold side? Seems it could be either place. Wonder what would make it hang closed? I worked with a lot of check valves in my time, never seen one hang closed I can recall. Of course, most I worked with were a lot larger than the one we're dealing with.
BTW, if you haven't figured it out yet; no hot water = unhappy DW!

Ozz,
After you get done fixing yur stuff and yur community center stuff, and everyone elses stuff, maybe you could organize your slide shows - if there is a way to add to this site, I would be happy to help with database stuff, etc.
BTW, prisoners, when working, get at least 5 days a month reduced from their sentence. Can you add 5 days to your stay?

Michael my friend,
I would like to do that, and I thank you for the offer, it is hard for me to go back and organize them, I am not wired that way.
A good deal would be made, for me to 'Fix something' for someone who would do such a task.
I feel I have some tips for our nomadic brothers and sisters that would be nice to have, but remember, I am new to computers, and have put in many hours of frustration in doing what I have done. I feel I have climbed K-10, or whatever the mount is called, even getting to the meager stage of computer competency I have attained.
PM me, and maybe we can ...Get 'er done.
