Anniversary Edition Tires

If anybody catches one of the new Anniversary edition Montanas at the shows, I would be curious which Goodyear Load Range E tires they are using as identified on Glenn's list.

With the 7K axles the tires would need to be rated for at least 3,500 lbs, and I can't find an E rated Goodyear that will do that in either LT or ST (excluding the G rated ST tire) If there is one out there, I could use 4 this spring, and there may be a few others.

The ones I saw on a recent trip to a dealers (not 10th anniv.) just looked like the same tire with a Goodyear Logo and a fine print "made in China".

Link to GY Site and a tire that meets the requirements.

With respect to GY in China.

Thanks Roger -

I don't think the Wranglers are made in China. Its a slightly different size, I need to check rim width.

It does require a wider rim. Of course I am just guessing but perhaps they have added a size to the Marathon line. They are made in China as we have a number on units here.

They are Goodyear Marathon tires. Our 10th anniversary 2955 arrived at the dealer a couple of days ago.

From Ont's post and pictures for the new 3605 the tire size is shown as 235/80R16. The axle rating is 6750#. That tire in the Marathon series is rated on the GY site as 3000#. The GVWR on the 3605 is 15,545#. Allowing 3000# for pin weight the tires are overloaded! The Missions had a rating of 3520# if I remember correctly. What gives? Tell me I am wrong!

This is the tire they should be using.
