Bob, it is between the wheels on the road side.
Ask if this guy has internet, then ask him to join us here at MOC for even more great info...

On our 2005, it is right behind the kitchen slide ahead of the wheels along the frame. We had an unusual issue with ours once. It unscrewed and was just flopping in the hole. We were able to screw it back in and it hasn't happened since. Best of luck.

This happened to me. On ou second trip out the water in the sink backed up. Went and bought one of those metal drain snakes ;took the plumbing apart, took it to the dealer after the trip and said I have drain problem. Noooo! you just have to pull that hidden lver between the wheels. They failed to tell me that during PDI. They didn't sell Montanas (I bought it used) so I don't think they new it existed.Felt real stupid when they told there WAS a 3rd lever to pull.

Thanks everyone, I went next door and gave him the news, he was surprised, guess his PDI was not the best. Told him about Montana owners web site. He travels and works out of the Monty, update, he just came over and there is a hole for the handle between the tires but no t handle. Thanks again

That's a problem. Have him call his dealership ASAP. This had better be a FREE service call. No excuse for that!

As a temporary, he could unscrew one of the other levers for gray or black water, and screw it in to dump so he can at least drain it. We camped next to a Montana in Pueblo, Colorado a few years back and they had called a plumber because they didn't know about the drain for the galley. We also forgot about ours, even though later I remembered that it had been covered. You never forget again.
