My First 5'er and it's a Montana
New owner from N. Texas. After much looking and decision making, we take delivery of a Montana 3075RL in two weeks. This is our first so we have a lot to learn. Please bear with me as I ask lots of questions.

Welcome to the Forum and congatulations on that new Rig!
Did you get the pontoon option, or are you further north than the flooding?

Congratulations! My first 5ver is also a Montana 3075RL. You are going to love it! Mine is now 6 months old and the learning curve wasn't as steep as I feared. Although I still can't seem to get the hang of backing up in tight places.

Welcome to the forum, BB. Our first 5er was a Montana in 2002. We liked it so much we traded it in for another last year. This is the place for your questions. Don't be shy about asking questions.

to the BEST Forum you could ever belong to. This is where you ask all the questions you want. Someone will answer your question. Maybe you'll be able to answer someone else's question. Everyone has a certain amount of experience.
Hope you're not effected by the flooding we see on TV everyday. (Also, TV normally means Tow Vehicle here, unless you are actually talking about television)
Good luck with your new Montana.

Congratulations! Our 1st 5th wheel was also a Montana!
I'm glad that you found this forum.
These people are the greatest! We have learned so much I can't tell you.
There have been several times out that we have overcome something that we learned from our MOC family.
We feel very comfortable and know that if we encounter a problem, help is just a post away!
Welcome and look forward to your adventures!
Hope all goes well with your new Montana!

Welcome!
The Montana Owners Club (MOC) will be your premier source for information about your Keystone RV product and to make RV’ing an enjoyable experience.
There is so much information at first that you won’t know where to start, but just read what is interesting; don’t be shy, and post your questions to the field of experienced users. No questions are too small or too big, there is always someone who knows something about your inquiry.
Oh, did I tell you about the bonus? The bonus is the great group of people who share a common interest with you!
See if you can schedule a rally in your future so you can meet some of these wonderful people and learn new ideas first-hand!

Thanks to everyone for the welcome. Picking it up Friday. Going to take a short weekend trip the next weekend to start learning the ropes.
Flooding has been all around us, but has not affected us directly. Looking like it might finally be ending. Already exceeded our normal yearly rainfall.

BB TX,
Where did you purchase your 3075RL? We're also looking at that particular model and can't find any to even look at. We went to Fun Time RV in Cleburne and they told us that its a very popular plan and will be getting some more soon.

Oops! Sorry for the slow response. Haven't checked this thread in a while.
I bought mine at FunTime RV Cleburne. It was the last '07 on the lot at the time. I had checked with them several times and when they had one available we went and looked at it and bought it that day. We had previously looked at one at Sherrard RV in Colbert, OK. so we pretty much knew that was what we wanted. But the one at Sherrard was dirty and the undercarraige was badly rusted even though it was a new unit. Salesman said it had come down from the north in the winter and that they would clean it and repaint the undercarraige, but I was not having that.
Call Robert Roe at FunTime RV Cleburne and tell him Bill Bass recommended him. He was great with us. Or e-mail him at robert@funtimerv.com. He kept us up to date over a period of about 3 months on what they had in stock as we were also originally looking at two other models. Visited on one Saturday and they were cooking steaks. He went and reserved us some steaks while we were looking at trailers.
