Replacement keys
I know awhile back I read on the forum about a number to call. You give them the number stamped on your door key,and they will send out new keys for a good price.I`ve been to a number of places that make keys, and for what ever reason they CAN NOT make one for my door key.I only have one door key and would like to have at least another or two.
For the life of me I can`t find that orginal post on the key replacement.

harleyrider, I went to our local hardware store(Ace) and they made me three extra keys. Cost was about $.89 each, didn't think that was too high! Check with your local store or Lowes, Home Depot or Menards, shouldn't be too much of a problem if they know what they are doing.

Harley - Glenn has the link in the RV Links section of the home page:
http://www.fastecindustrial.com/products.htm
Just call them with the door key number and they will mail you however many you want. They won't make the cabinet keys, as they say they are standard blanks from a keyshop, unlike the door keys.

Got ours at a local lock and safe company. About a buck each as I remember.

Thanks ALL for your replys.I did go to Ace hardware-had 2 keys made-neither one would work.I guess the guy didn`t know what he was doing.
I did though get the number that Glenn had.I`ll give them a call tommorow.I had e-mailed the place and gave what i thought was the number on the key. They got back to me and said that the number isn`t any they knew of.I looked again at the key and these old eyes aren`t what they use to be.I was off on one of the letters.thought it was a P but it turns out it was a F.
Anyway thanks for your help.

I had keys made at the big flea market in Yuma, AZ. They carried all the blanks.
