Hi Guys!! We are new from Va Beach!!

Good Morning everyone!

Just wanted to give everyone a little info on the newbie from Va Beach. We have been 5ers for about 5 years now and we are born and brought up in New England my husband and I an our two kids. We have been all around the world, my husband is retired Navy, and now we have settled at the Beach. We decided that the kids are growing up and have traded our bunkhouse for a Montana 2007 3400RL. We will take delivery of our new home on wheels next saturday the 24th. We have never had a Montana and really searched and looked at a lot things and we just really feel like we have not just bought a new RV but we are joining a family. So if anyone is in my area and would like to hook up with the newbies from Va Beach drop us a line we would love to hang out with you all. I was also brought up in a Nascar Racing family so we do spend a lot of time going to the races and in Mooresville NC where my brother and uncle work on race teams so if any of you are race fans please let us know and we will hook up at the races as well, nothing better than spending the weekend with 200,000 of your closest friends. Anyway, thank you for being such a wealth of knowledge and we look forward to seeing some of you and meeting new people. Sorry this was a little long!! Oh, my name is Heather and My husbands name is Russell I am 36 and My husband is going to be 40 we have two kids and two four legged kids as well. Thanks for everything you guys do for the RV world!

Welcome Heather and Russell. Sounds like you got a great unit. You're going to love it! You are in a beautiful area. Maybe some year we could have a rally there! Meanwhile we will be having our Northeast Rally in PA from May 31-June 4. I believe the town is Kutztown and it's near Allentown. Not sure how far it is from Virginia Beach but it would be a really great experience for you. People are really great, food is great, entertainment and it's educational as well. Check it out!

Welcome Heather and Russel, thanks to you we are no longer the Virginia Beach Newbies! (we picked up or 3000RK on 8 March). As you probably know there are alot of camping enthusiasts in the area. We are active with both a Local Good Sams chapter (Sunchaser Sams) and with Family Campers and RVers (FCRV)(Pinwheelers). We will be camping with FCRV at North Landing campground when you are taking your delivery. Perhaps a detour on the way home to show off your new rig? We will be in Waynesboro April 13-15 and both Sams and FCRV are camping 20-22 April. FCRV at First Landing State Park where we will be doing a conservation project for the rangers but get to camp for free! The Sams group is having to change their location due to the campground going out of buisness but if you are interested I will let you know when they annnounce it.

Where are you purchasing your unit from - Dixie's? I would be interested in hearing your opinion on the dealership no matter who it is.

Bill

Welcome, you are going to love your new 3400. We have the 2005, 3400 and spend about 6 months a year in it. This is a great place to get all your questions answered.
