That blue tank
When at Q-site and when the blue tank was full and had to be moved it was alwas a challange with those skinny hard wheels so this is what I did for a cost of $40.95 cents for everything.
( 2ea Wheels @ 14.95ea.) ( 4ea locking washers @ 2.75 ea.) ( 2 large fender washers drilled out to 5/8".) pictures below will give you a better Idea of what I'm tring to say.
Washers and locking 5/8” washers, and nylon bushings removed from axel. 4 ea locking washers two on each side for easy wheel centering and tire changing.
Shaft with locking 5/8” washers and shaft with rub washer added.
Wheel installed on shaft and wheel with locking 5/8” washers installed on shaft locking wheel on the shaft.
It sure rolls a lot easier and doesn't bounce as much as the hard wheels did and Quiiiiiet

Wonder if that increased the Gross Vehicle Waste Rating (GVWR)?

It is a temporary dump station for your waste. It extents your boondocking time. You can leave your RV in place and move the blue portable waste tank to the dump station.

As a mater a fact it did, but the only problem it didn't increase the holding capicity of the tank, or my ability to lift that puppy on the bed of the truck.

Hey Don, by increasing the Gross (that fits) Vehicle Waste Rating I'll bet it's not long before Ozz comes up with a slideout design to increase the capacity if he can come up with some quality seals!

Don, great job and great pictures.
Looking for a winter project and never thought it would be the blue baby. gotta drag it out the barn and get down to Home Depot and get the parts to get started. Maybe this will quiet the travel to the dumping station and eliminate some of the stares, laughs, and the holding of the noses on the way. Beats moving the trailer and sure extends the stay.

Always looks funny to me to see a big dually towing this little 32 gallon 'honey wagon' to the dump station...and it is attached to the bumper like a TT.

When in Newport Beach we noticed the favorite campground pastime was customizing 4-wheel carts and golf carts and parading them around.
Seein how we can't "Tow" the 4-wheelers behind the Monty, maybe we should start parading around customized blue tankers for the next rally!
I challenge somebody to come up with a self propelled riding type blue tanker using available methane fuel from the tank!

I have lived in Alaska for 13 years, have seen many a honey bucket, but never a tank. Tanks for clarifying (no pun intended). I was wondering what folks did when they were in a CG with water and elec only and did not want to use CG bathrooms. Do some CG offer a honey bucket service where they come to your rig to dump you? Similar to my septic guy?

OK let's diversify. I don't have a "blue" tank, mine is a different brand lets see on Moc we refer to SOB and it is Gray. Right now it is buried underneath about 7 inches of snow so I will need to dig it out to see what type of axles are available to modify.
