Roger hope everything's OK. We got our 2007 3400RL just before you did. We have been FTing in it ever since. We absolutely love it.
That is a great price for that 3400. Should be able to move it quickly without coming down on your price. Good time of the year, also.

Pokypa, those are outstanding prices. I paid more for my 06 3400RL that you are asking for your 07. If you don't mind me asking, why are you selling? I hope it's not health reasons....

Thanks for asking if something is wrong or health problems causing us to sell our Montana. We had a motorhome for 10 years and travel many different states having a wonderful time. We traded it in on our Montana 3400RL thinking we were making the right decision. We have since after taking two trips that the 5th wheel was the wrong way for us. We are going back to a motorhome as soon as we sell our Montana and Dodge dually. We have nothing negative to say about 5th wheels, we just like motorhomes a little better. This is a great buy for someone who wants to upgrade or first timers.
Thanks for all the advice and many friends in the MOC

pokypa, I am glad it wasn't due to health reasons. I certainly understand your decision. I have a niece with a Class A and her mom (my sister) has a 5er. They still travel together most of the time but each has their own preferences....
If I hear of anyone looking, I will certainly pass your email on to them. Once you sell could you let us know it is no longer available?
See you on the road.

We did the opposite. Had the fifth wheel in our signature and went back to a motor home ---- again. I am not a motor home person. Now we are looking at the Big Sky's and Chuck has already found a truck. Here in Central NY there are no actual Big Sky's we can go in. We are taking it slow cause I know we will probably lose money on all this -- just trying not to lose our shirts. I really miss my Montana.

I will agree, you sure got it priced to sell. If you look at the magazines and web pages, used ones are a heck of a lot higher in price. Good luck and I will also pass the word around.

The 2003 Dodge 3500 is SOLD. Several lookers on the 2007 Monty, but not sold as of now. My wife and I ordered our new Bounder 35E yesterday and should have it within 6 weeks.
Thanks for all of the helps that is on the forum. I have really enjoyed learning from all of you. All the MOC are very luckly to have a forum like this to vent their good & bad. Will let you know when the Monty sells. By the way do you think the price of $42,000 is a fair price for our 2007 Monty.

Have you posted your Montana on Craigs List? It is a free website that allows you to put things on for sale.

ya, i have both vehicles on craig's list. i'm running out of ideas. the 5er is on ebay for 38,000, but the auction is about to end and it's close but not quite. if i could get what i owe, 37,000 i would sell it in a heart beat. i'm leaving for my next duty station in about 6 weeks...going to japan and i obviously can't take it. it's down to the wire. i open to suggestions!

timbuktu78, have you checked with the local RV dealers to see if they would take it and put it on their lot to sell on consignment?
