We travel with an Umbrella Cockatoo. We surrendered one recliner and the little table. We initially kept her in a small travel cage (previously we were never gone more than a few days) but since I retired and we are in Arizona for a couple months, we went out and bought her a new cage. It stands almost 5 feet tall, on wheels, really easy to clean. It fits nicely between the recliner and a small freezer, all of which are back against the big window. The plan is to lay it on its side and strap it to the sofa.
The travel cage must be used in the truck, as the bird hates Rich. I bought it, on line, from an outfit in California. It collapses down to a few inches tall and is currently in the underbelly.
