I got them!!

Well guys, since I joined your group a couple weeks ago,I sure got a lot of info an so many friendly welcomes, I believe this to be the most friendliest bunch, so anyway I found my truck (bought it to) a 99 Ford 1 ton dulley, diesel 7.3 an got the 20,000 ln (brand new, came with the truck) then today purchased the montana. I was originally looking at the mountaineer, 07, but went back (5 times) LOL, an there set a 06 2980, 3 slides, in excellent shape. when my DW an I walked in it it just kinda grabbed us!! you know the feeling, LOL, it was used very little, the stove never been used!! brand new tires an brakes all around installed by the montana dealer. We get it monday evening they gotta prep it then do our walk thru, an home it goes! As soon as i can get pics of truck an trailer (maybe wife an I to) we'll figure out how to get them on here. Still got my DP an grand cherokee!!! but they up for sale. Thanks guys an gals for your very warm welcome when we joined your group.

Congratulations Tom on both units. They are excellent choices, and I don't think you will regret the purchase.

thanks Lonnie an Glenn, I will do just that Glenn, an thanks for all your help an info, I will be sure to pass it on to the next new member. I have pulled or towed an driven just about every thing but a fifthwheel, An I meant in my post that a new 20,000 lb draw-tight hitch came mounted in the truck, an it was customized bt custom creations in alabama, very beautiful paint an stripes. only thing i gotta do is figure out what type of fuel tank to add, I'm not used to hauling only 38 gal. lol, so any suggestions on this will be appreaciated. also want a tool box in the bed. thanks

Congrats to you & your DW on your new TV & Trailer. As you can see by our signature, same as our choice of trailer.

Nice rig, Tom. Congratulations. You're a man after my on heart, let others eat that first bite of depreciation. Dollars saved will take us a long way. Hope all goes well. Happy RVing.... By-the-way, you can delete the double entry. Just go to one of them and use the icons at the top of the post.

Tom,

Congratulations! What fun to get it all in a bundle! There are plenty of threads in the archives on xtra fuel and tool boxes. Just use the search feature. My Ford only has a 26 gal tank which gets me by. Bout the time it runs out I should be getting out and kicking the tires anyway.

Tom - We too saw the 2006 2980RL and immediately traded our 2002 2850RK for it. We are very happy with ours and know you will be too with yours. Congrats and welcome to the forum.
