Propane prices?
With gas and diesel going up the propane prices are climbing also.
What prices are you running into on the road?
Do you fill at RV stops or go to the propane dealers?

I bought a tank for right at $20 early last month at a local convenience store that also sells propane.

We fill up before we leave home at our RV repair place. He is cheaper than the gas stations that sell propane. When we are out, we buy at campground if available. Usually a little more expensive but don't use any diesel getting there!
Happy trails.....................

Good question. Last month we were in NM and had to refill one of our tanks. In the past year or two, our experience has been from 17.00 to 19.00 per tank, irregardless of how much it took.
In NM, we stopped at a propane dealer, the kind with the trucks that do routes, and had it refilled. 12.50 unreal markup at the park and convience stores.

We were at a Costco at Prince George BC Canada a month ago and they were only 15 Can to fill a 30 pound tank.
This was the lowest we have paid for several years and we have paid as high as 24 Can to fill a tank.

We paid $24.50 for our last tank (3.50 per gal) in Alaska. That is the most we have ever paid.

We paid from $11.00 to $19.00 for 30 lbs between December 2005 and June 2006. It really depends on where you are. West coast states are the highest. Paid $11.00 in Texas.

I try to use the Flying J when possible as I have the frequent fueler card that saves me a few pennies. They seems to be very close in price with other stations in the area.

We do the same as parrothead, fill up where we know it's cheaper close to home. And if we get low we keep an eye out for the prices where we are, and if they are the same as the campground we are in, we just get it there, at least there is no cost of driving to it.

We buy locally at the convienance store and at the propane dealer. Both run about the same, just under $20 for a 30lb tank.
When on the road I usually just pick whatever is avalable.

Washington is the tax capitol of the world, with a Governor that doesn't mind stealing everything she can and two fremales Senators that just love to get their names in the paper as beingfor lowering taxes and then not doijng anyhting about it.. Grrrrrr!

Not propane prices, but have seen diesel about $3.01 to $3.03 and gas from $2.93 to $3.16 in last week or so in our county here in Michigan. We heat the stick built with propane, those numbers scare me to no end Rickety!
