San Antonio, TX
Hello,
I would like some personal experience on rv parks in San Antoino, do's and don'ts. We will be staying for three months there. Where are the safer places to stay and where not to stay? We need a big site to fit the Big Sky in. Does anyone have any good info? Thanks

When we are in San Antonio we always stay at Blazing Star RV Resort, located on outer loop 1604. It is clean, quiet, shaddy, drive through sites. Their bath house and laundry areas are as clean as your own home. Lovely pool area and folks are real friendly and helpful. We have always felt safe and comfortable during our stays. If I remember correctly, they do have a web site.

The Blazing star is supreme. It is, however on the extreme outside of the city. One would be prudent to search for a place close to your given area.
(Sue calls it Blazing Saddles...)

It would be a great place to stay, we loved it there, a very upscale park.
Hey, if you are there, take a day short trip down, and we will sjow you South Padre Island.

I'm with you on the Blazing Star Campground. It is a good one. We stopped for a week once and stayed for a month.

We have stayed at Travellers World which is OK. It had a pool, spa and WiFi. This last time we were there we stayed at the KOA very nice. Just a few minutes from downtown. It is gated and very clean. There is a pool and game room. They have some spots with cable and there is WiFi as well. Both had public transportation very close by. We like the parks closer to downtown so that as we enjoy the nite life not wanting to drive, there is no problem taking a taxi or bus.
