MCD shades
For those of you that have MCD shades ... do you draw them up when traveling or just let them bang around going down the road. If the latter ... does it make wear marks on anything?

My motor home had MCD shades. I always stowed them for travel. It was recommended by the manufacturers

We travel with them up as we figure less chance of damage to them and the window trims.

We always travel with them in the raised position. When we had them installed they advised us to travel that way too.

I just had them installed and MCD said in didn't matter if up or down. I plan on leaving my daylight shades down all the time so no reason to change for towing and just some of my night shades will be used on a regular basis so whatever direction they are won't matter when towing.

Down for going on 3 years.
It helps with keeping the rig cooler in the heat also. I think.
There are no marks.... They give you protection to keep from making scars and or noises when windows may be open and there is a breeze.

Always leave shades dow...limits light damage/fading although windows are tinted dark.
