Azstar and 1putt, I gave up golf shortly after surviving a college phys ed class in golf. I'd have to be called stilltryingtogetpastthefirsthole.

Yeah, well I drove a ball straight over the fence (a dogleg hole), across the road (country dirt road), over the fence on the other side and hit a cow that then moo'd in protest. That was the highlight of my golfing experiences.

Okay I have to tell my golf story. When I was married to my ex husband who was a very good golfer I was taking lessons at the country club we belonged to. He didn't think I was being taught right so we went to a driving range where he was going to instruct me on how to hold my hands and arms when I swung. He stood behind me holding onto my arms and said "Swing". It took 12 stiches to close the gap in his head. I sold my golf clubs.
