So I dug a bit further, and three out of four tires have raised areas or a bubble. CAllen the claim center and was approved for replacement.

So, your Service Contract is replacing your tires? All 4 or 5?

What are they replacing them with? - the original brand? I would want GY 614's or Sailun 637s. Why get the same problem over again!

I am having Goodyears put on.Sullivan tire needs to call the warranty group before they go on, and I may have to pay the difference in price. I can bet that they will not cover tires that cost double that of available trailer tires. I think that for sure I will. In anycase, I drove the Monty here to work, the tire place is across the street and the tires are on order.

I am not one to buy extended warranties on items. They just usually aren't worth it.
However comma
Boy am I glad my DW insisted on doing it this time. At the least, if i had not I'd be staring at roughly (at a minimum) a $800.00 bill with something less than Goodyear and roughly 1700.00 with them.
So maybe if you are a new buyer looking at a monty, and they throw this extended warranty at you to consider and you can't afford the expense of top tier tires, having the warranty is good insurance in this case. That and the fact it covers the Tow Vehicles tires too, that's some peice of mind.

Un-freakin believable. The tire place verified the tires have issues and need to be replaced. The extended warranty for the tires "does not coverify manufacutter defects". They won't authorize the replacement! I am on the phone with camping world..... this isn't going to be good.
Thanks Keystone! Thank you very much.

Use this as a learning experience. After replacing Marathons four times, when the fifth tire, which was the first one replaced the year before, failed with half the tread separated, I put on the spare and vowed to never put on another Chinabomb. I found, I think a Discount Tire, got a six month interest free deal, and had all five tires replaced with G614's, about $1900. I have never regretted this as the security of these tires is well worth it. This was in December of 2013, after a little over 12,000 miles on the rig. We now have over 40,000 miles on the rig, and the tires are doing well.

So far my Montana Learning experiences are pretty costly. I have a different warranty company Tredit- for tires and my Ranier ST tires are not made in China but are made in Thailand. So far I have not seen many issues with them. They were or are OEM on Jayco's.

At what point did you miss the fact that you bought a 'service contract" NOT a extended warranty.
I retired from the car business and I fought this every day. The customer bought, what they thought was a "extended warranty" when in fact they bought a "service contract" covering certain listed parts.
Now suck it up, go buy 5 tires, and treat this as a learning experience.
Happy trails.............
Jim

When the piece of paper says EXTENDED WARRANTY on it, how sir, do you suppose I should find the words and identify it as a service contract?
No it is an extended warranty that covers everything EXCEPT manufacturers defects. The only thing I'll be sucking up is coffee out of my mug.
I wasn't looking for a "learning experience" or snide comments. I thought posting this there was something to be gained.
I was wrong, I guess I did learn something.
Have a nice night.

Maybe you can scan and PM me a copy of your "extended warranty" My 35 years in the car business has taught me only the manufacture can offer a warranty. After market company's can offer a "service contract" that covers listed parts, with noted exceptions.
When I had a customer ask me about a "service contract" my reply would be, never buy a contract that listed covered parts. Only buy a contract that listed NON covered parts. IE: if it is not listed, it is covered.
Now, you have found the tires are not covered in your "extended warranty". What else is not covered?
I looked up Safe-Guard tire coverage, it says it covers road hazards. Manufacturing defects are NOT covered. Please, as a consumer, read the "service contract" you bought and understand what you actually bought. Please do not get upset when folks try and point out the fact what you bought and what you "thought" you bought are two different things.

Like mentioned, this is a learning experience. Buy some decent tires, accept the fact Keystone puts JUNK tires on their trailers and you, the end user, have to spend the $$ to make it right.
Have a good night...........

Recieved a compensated allowance for all four Trailer King tires, and 4 new Goodyears are on the trailer. Wife is happy as we didn't take the hit she thought we were going to. TBC brands (tire company that sells Trailer King) was very easy to work with. All done.
