Range Exhaust Cover
I'm on my 3rd plastic range exhaust cover (all 3 have cracked and faded). When I replace it this time I want to install a stainless steel or metal vent.
Any sources or ideas?

I was thinking I'd seen some on high dollar Class A's, but couldn't find anything on line.

I was thinking of taking some aluminum sheet and bending it to form over the top of the plastic cover that I just bought to replace my hail damaged one. If you wanted one that was picture perfect, you could always take the plastic cover to a welder that does tig welding and have the person do one in aluminum with a brushed surface or even stainless steel...both would need tig welding. Not aware of anything in metal, several different sizes of covers out there so keep that in mind. John

I was going to replace mine due to fading but when I looked at replacement vents, I noticed that the replacements were flimsy plastic, I painted my original one and it now looks brand new!

We also both have the original Awnings,Steps,Ladders and Holding tanks.
