Reversing Love Seat and Recliners in 2012 3455/SA
Recently we wanted to reverse our Love Seat and Recliners in our 2012 3455/SA. The Love seat is about 3 inches to deep for the slides. I would think as a "selling feature" it would be a advantage to be able to do this? Sometimes it is Good for designers to live in a RV for a time.

You are so right about that! Our previous unit was a 3455 and whenever we were stationary for a period of time we would always switch the sofa bed to the back window so as to look directly at tv from the recliners.
It was so important and obvious to us that when we went looking to purchase again the new floor model had to have the sofa bed permanently located under the back window to eliminate further switching. We also opted for home theater seating so as to not have to strap the recliners down.
We have learned a lot form owning and using these different floor plans and it would certainly be good to have the design people actually use these layouts for a period of time.

Absolutely correct. I wish ours would switch out and travel with the couch across the back. However, I hate it when they stick a narrow couch into the back of the rig just so that it will fit, then and you feel like you're falling out the front of the couch when you're sitting on it. Not comfortable.

I took the drapery brackets off below the window - gain an inch or two...still tight.
I removed the section of the sofa bed which fold over with the legs for the bed - since we did not use the bed. gain couple inches 0 WORK GREAT...I still check before closing the slides in to be sure the sofa has not been moved out.
We love our recliners across from the TV now....I also put a double 12v light over the window behind the recliners in place of the single unit. Its better for reading.

At the very least a company like Keystone ought to employ a full time couple to live in their new models for a couple of months before they put them into production. Some things would definately be different.

That is a great idea for sure and just think how much improved these new floor plans could actually be improved before hitting the market.

We looked for something with recliners across from the TV, but couldn't find anything we liked. But at least Keystone angled the TV so they are pretty viewable from the chairs in the back on our Mountaineer.

I have the 2012 3455 with the leather sofa and chairs. I switched the sofa and chairs and have no clearance problem what so ever.

Don and Barb-- Come to the Fall Rally in Goshen and bring this up to the interior designers or to the head honchos for the Montana Division themselves. This has been one of the concerns for many of the Montana, Big Sky, High Country, and Mountaineer for some time now. Luckily, we have been able to switch our recliners from the back of the unit and put the sofa there and put the recliners where the sofa was in the slide. As I posted in another thread here, we have about two inches to spare when it comes to closing the slides so we are one of the lucky owners of a Montana.
