vent question on 3150RL
Hello from Oregon,
While sitting in our upper story "morning coffee" room we noticed a small, low profile vent behind the AC unit on our 2010 3150RL. Anyone know what it is for?

Not sure on your model and year, but on ours, those are vents for the "attic".

You probably have one on the front too, as Dick said, they are attic vents. We have 2 also.

Like said ... Keystone and other SOB's have gone to these to vent the space in-between the ceiling and the roof.

The cap is all you see on the attic vent as the base is screwed into the roof. The cap covers the base and screws off counter clock wise. I'm replacing mine (cap only) as they were getting pretty brittle. Can't just buy the cap so the entire assembly cost me around $12. I'll paint the new caps with white paint for plastic as some one on this forum stated it slows the deterioration. Need to buy a spare to carry because if one is missing it will give the rain direct entry to your attic and insulation. Jim

As DL N K said, the part number Keystone gave me is 102776. The "official" name is Roof Attic Mushroom Cap.
I just found the part number in my files, should be p/n 102776. Parts guy didn't know what I was asking for until we went outside to a new Everest and I pointed them out. He took both off the Everest and sold them to me and ordered new ones for his stock unit. That's customer service, and why I get most of my parts/supplies from them. If that's the ones you're talking about, they screw on. Give 'em a counterclockwise twist and it should spin right off. There's a bolt right in the middle.
