Hose pass through holes
I have two threaded plastic caps that allow access to the water hookup in my 2015 Mountaineer. I would like to somehow plug the hole when a hose is in it so wasps ect can not get in. Anyone have a solution?
Thanks,
Pete

I cut a piece of high density foam, it fits tight and allows any moisture to drain.

I found a $3.00 sponge at Ace Hardware, in paint dept, about 3" thick, 6" width & 9" long, brownish color. place cable, water, etc through holes then place sponge around all. Closes it up tight.

I drilled a hole just larger than the hose and a second hole just larger than my tv cable in one of the covers and just feed the lines through the respective hole. Works great and I still have the solid cover for travel.

A funnel works good. Split it lengthwise, attach a bungee cord to the small end.Slide the hose, cable thru the cut and bungee it up against the bottom access hole.It has worked for me for about 5 years. Bill

I use a small toilet plunger. I removed the wooden handle and drilled out the rubber where the handle went. I also drilled a small hole in the rubber for a short piece of coax cable. Fits nice and tight with a slight push. The water hose needed to be a little thicker so I built up the diameter with electrical tape.

I just stuff an old hand towel around the hose and Sat. cables to fill the opening. Very Low Tech!

Ask a good question on the MOC and get really good and unique solutions. I was wondering what the best way to seal that up was.
