Apollo 1/2 Time oven
My Apollo 1/2 Time Oven microwave function just quit working. Although the venting fan runs no microwaves seem to be produced. I place a bag of popcorn in for 2:40 and it didn't pop and the bag was cool to the touch when I removed it. I could smell something like a burnt circuit board or over heated wires. So to be on the safe side I removed the oven from it's built in shelf and unplugged it so there was no danger of fire.
Single man without a microwave oven ... is there anything more pathetic?
Has anyone else had this problem? I haven't checked if it is repairable or needs replacement yet.

Hi there
Call Apollo Customer Service 800.330.9707
I think they are the only source for parts now. Very helpful troubleshooting over the phone. Had our problem sorted out in about 5 min.
We have an 06 3400RL, if you have any questions, we have been fulltiming in it (in Cloverdale BC) for over 3 yrs.

Hi,
Pull the cover off of it and you should see the problem. it is possible it is something you could repair. I would call Apollo, but Sears does have parts for it.
I have fixed mine a number of times.
Good luck with it. Ozz

We called Apollo when ours was giving us trouble. Very helpful customer service. Told me what the problem was, how to fix it and sent me the parts pronto.

Well I took off the cover. No obvious problems but one thing that was obvious was the warning sticker to discharge the high voltage capacitor before servicing. It is rated at 2100 volts. Yikes!! I'm awaitinga call back from the Apollo service centre before I touch anything and light myself up like a July 1st (4th for all my American friends) Roman Candle!

Well, I'll admit I'm a bit of a skeptic or maybe it's cynical but I didn't expect a call back from Apollo but I stand corrected. Mike called back from service and we think we've trouble shot the problem and he has a new thermostat in the mail for me today!
I am so happy I found this forum user's group, I'd be lost without it. Thanks for the help again!
