Bluegrass Music and Vets Specials - Mid-Atl Rally
Just received the Pigeon Forge Guide for Summer of 2014 in the mail today and wanted to pass along some info for those who may be interested during the rally. Per the pamphlet:
Stringtime in the Smokies, Aug 2, is a day of summertime fun at The Old Mill. Enjoy mountain music and bluegrass concerts.
Also of interest:
During the entire month of August, military veterans and active duty personnel, firefighters, police officers and other first responders are offered special discounts at participating businesses throughout Pigeon Forge. You can visit MyPigeonForge.com/CF for a list of participating businesses that are observing CELEBRATE FREEDOM.

We love both mountain music and bluegrass. Unfortunately we will be in Colorado at that time.

Thanks for the info Bingo. I like BG but Carla has never learned to appreciate it. I'll check out the discounts also. Never hurts to says a dollar or two.

I know what you mean about the BG appreciation Steve. I was exposed to it at a very young age, still love it, but the women in the family groan and moan if I even turn to it on the radio. Even worse, is if I put the Bluegrass Gospel Hour on before church on Sunday morning, they will all leave the room rolling their eyes! Oh well, it does not change my appreciation for it!

Bingo,
Now you know how to get some bathroom time, just put the radio in there and the bathroom is all yours!

Bluegrass is great, and I really don't get to get enough! Let the women groan Bingo. Sooner or later, they will realize what they are missing. August 2 sounds like a good day!

You're just more sophisticated than they are, Bingo! It will be a class in music appreciation for my DW also! LOL!
