We hated to miss seeing everyone and eating with you but we do have a new microwave oven. They took their sweet time getting it processed so we could load it up. Hope to see you at a luncheon

Thanks Carol for the photo op. But I am another one of those annoying guys like: what did you see, what did you like, did you get in to the new 3610? Sorry to hijack your original thread buuut I just couldn't help myself.

We did indeed get into the new 3610 and it is one fine unit! Al and I have been looking hard a the new models, even though the possibility of a purchase has dramatically changed due to family issues. But, we still keep looking!
The 3610 is similar to the 3582. CountryGuy had been looking hard at the 3582 and liked a lot of stuff about it, including the refer sitting at an angle. It has the washer on the main floor as you walk in the door, which he STRONGLY prefers (it's a lint issue and believe me, we have had lint issues). He does not look favorably upon the washer in the middle of the bedroom closet, that is ONE long run with many "curves" to clog up the works.
Another issue in the 3582 for him is the height of the telie, the bottom of the telie sits at 48 inches (from floor). He sat in a chair and before long he felt uncomfy sitting and watching, for him, it was too high. (please note these are OUR opinions, YOUR MILEAGE MAY VARY, and that is why we have all these wonderful models to choose from).
SOOO, the telie in the 3610 sits at about 38 inches from the floor to the bottom of the telie. Note, the telie in the 3610 is a 50 incher and the 3582 sports a 42 incher.
The washer in the 3610 is on the main floor, but, on the opposite side, the street side. The 3610 has a lot more wood like flooring. It has a side aisle bath, tub was large, Al did not like where the shower head was located, if you wanted to sit on that seat while you showered. There is NO medicine cabinet in the 3610. He also noted that there would be shadows on your face while shaving due to the placement of the overhead light.
In the kitchen of the 3610 there is some nice counter space and the washer/dryer closet has plenty of room for storage of kitchen items IF you have the combo washer/dryer set up. There is no coat closet in this unit.
Over all at this point, IF we could purchase we would be deciding between the 3735 and the 3610. The 3735 has a desk built in, the 3610 does not. The solution for us would be to remove the kitchen table all together and have a custom built desk installed. There would need to be work arounds due to the windows, believe that the window by the table would end up extending below the top of any desk install.
I did not take any photos in the 3610. I do have a photo of the telie and part of the kitchen of the 3582 if anyone is interested. I also have one photo of the revised television area in the new 3735.

Thanks so much for your hands on review of the 3610. Two things that now really stand out that we did not know:
#1 A 50" Television in the 3610, well I am sure we could make the adjustment from out current 42"
#2 No medicine cabinet in the 3610, are you kidding me, that alone could be a real deal breaker!!!
Also we can agree the height on the television IS very important for neck strain as well we find we need direct on viewing of the television for the same reason.
Thanks so much, you did a good job for us!!!

There is a mirror, of course, and this was the prototype, maybe they will change?
There is a pass thru type cupboard beside the bathroom sink, when you open the door there are some shelf like things on the inside of the doors. The pass through is accessible from the bedroom, I think of it as a linen closet. By adding some shelves under the sink and some baskets, etc., it would be doable. Not optimum, but doable. We are a creative bunch. eh?
Al agreed it could be fixable, livable.

Montana Sky, I did NOT see the Big Sky at the show. We had already used our two day pass by the time it arrived at the show.
We hope to have the opportunity however, to see it this week, it will be about 4 miles away.
